We don't advice that act. I see many people that tried to make model number B650 and have a bricked B550. Those devices are specially CI+ devices.
I don't sure about whats will happen on B579 -> B679 but I definitely don't advice that. Thanks.

Hi,

As I look at Samsung TV specification PIP option for all models are defined as "1 Tuner PIP". On my B650 PIP function is active on all sources but TV and only source for PIP is TV. So there is no way to use PIP function while you watching TV channel and no way to get something other as TV channel in this small PIP picture. I checked specifications for 6,7 and 8 series TVs and PIP option was only "1 Tuner PIP".
So keep using your samsung without any modifications.

You can't flash your firmware because you cannot execute RSA Disable program (yet) from Content Library / Game Menu which is not exist in B550 series...
