I thought a few years back that this site once had firmware for my tv, but now I see nothing... maybe it is too old & underspec'd.
The exact model is the LN40B610A5FXZA.

...and what Is firmware name and version on tv? Check first screen of service menu.

I don't see a service menu, but when I flipped around I found:
MENU|Support|Software Upgrade|Current Version|"2010/01/06_001014"
Ahh, a little more flipping around and I got to:
MENU|Support|Contact Samsung|Software Version|"T-CHE6AUSC-1014.0S"
This looks more like the language I've been seeing on this site... sorry to be such a newbie... maybe I overlooked some "newbie's start here" forum?
