ITV player released in Uk

Finally Samsung have released the ITV player in the UK.

But it still does not work for me, keeps asking for a firmware upgrade?

I have upgraded to 1024.1 and it still asks for new firmware, supose ill have to just wait untill they fix it.

Samsung are really rubbish at supporting their TVs, such a great tv but way behind in what's available in todays viewing markets:shock:

Well now they have released 1025.1 firmware....and now ITV player works......

Now just have to wait for 4od and 5 on demand.....

You guys at Sammy go say that there are no fixes in newer firmware? But as far as I can see there is? For BBC iplayer and ITV player, new firmware must contain newer version of flash......

So there is fixes in newer firmware. But if you want to continue using SamyGo, you need to be careful with doing firmware updates. If you don't care, then flash away. You will lose root access to the TV.

I know this, but the TVs no use to me if these widgets don't work? Which they don't with a lower firmware version?

I don't have much use for root access at the moment....although the samba shares are a nice option, but I can use the allshare app.....keybrd functionality was nice also but this too wasn't that great.
