SmartTV and Pendrive

Hi guys.

I bought a new Samsung 40ES8000 Smart TV. I tried to connect my pendrive to record a program, and SmartTV asked me if I wanted to format it to use it like PVR device. But after recording when I connect pendrive to Mac/Win computer, it asks me to format pendrive because I understand Samsung TV uses a different file system.

So I ask you: is there a way/software to save pendrive file or to decrypt them?
