Looking for mkrfs

Post by raananh »

Hi,
I would like to use mkrfs but I can't find 10_LA32C530_X4.zip in Samsung Open Source (I read here that mkrfs was in that zip)- maybe that zip was removed.
Does anybody have a link to that zip or to mkrfs in particular? (a private msg also good)
Thanks,
raananh

Hi, thanks, I've read the following in an article here:
"The code for this tool resides inside 10_LA32C530_X4.zip, in the package vdlinux-mstar-kernel.tgz, in the subdirectory vdlinux-mstar-kernel/RFS_1.3.1_b070-LinuStoreIII_1.2.0_b032FSR_1.2.1p1_b129_RTM_X4/tools/FSTools/
It is available from the open source server at Samsung's. This package both contains the source code and a working i*86 binary of mkrfs"
Can you please send me a link? I can check.
Thanks,
raananh

Thank you so much!
I needed it for my galaxy i9000 mobile phone.
But I also have the E550 smart TV, and now that I know this great site I can dig inside it too...
Thanks again,
raananh
