hi guys

i bought this smart tv one week ago and now i'm trying to install italian channels. The problem is that the local set is eu_france and not eu_italy and i can't change it because the option is disabled. I've also tried ru controller but combination of factory + 3speed sorts no effects. My firmware is 2009. Any idea?

then get service remote or use universal rc and custom codes. Or ask someone to build ir transmitter. No other way.

why doesn't samsung want that a normal user changes the local set?
I'm thinking to call the shop that sold the tv for changing it

Hey giamma
did you try to pair the ru controller to your tv before trying to send the service commands? For me the ru controller was working well on my ES6710.
