D5700 Network Check fails

Post by mcbane »

Hi,

I have a Problem with my D5700.
It thinks I'm not connected to Network correctly from Menu.
What dos it check to know?

Following constellation:
WLAN through TP-Link WR702N (Client Mode)

With Netcat I checked Network manually and it works:

Code: Select all

ifconfig
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr D0:66:7B:49:5F:6E
          inet addr:192.168.1.253 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:4196 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:3505 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:1
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:30
          RX bytes:1513448 (1.4 MiB) TX bytes:376026 (367.2 KiB)
          Interrupt:17 Base address:0x4000

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
          RX packets:3439 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:3439 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:330454 (322.7 KiB) TX bytes:330454 (322.7 KiB)

Code: Select all

ping -c4 google.de
PING google.de (173.194.113.184): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 173.194.113.184: seq=0 ttl=57 time=29.644 ms

64 bytes from 173.194.113.184: seq=3 ttl=57 time=29.110 ms

--- google.de ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 4 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 28.515/29.086/29.644 ms
So everything works, but Samsung Menu thinks not.
Why?

EDIT:
Before I used the "TP-Link WR702N", I had a "Vonets VAP11G" which worked perfect.

EDIT2:
I think it could be possible that the Samsung TV is confused about WR702 which has its own
MAC and IP-Adsress. The old one (VAP11G) didn't had that, or was able to hide it.

So if I could force the TV to not check Network, I think network will work.
Otherwise it will block all Apps until it thinks Network is now OK.... :-(
