Ticker app on EU smartTV

Hello, I'm new here.

I have to do a smartTV application which is started on TV power on.
I find the "ticker" function for an application, and I put to "y" this feature in the config.xml file.

First, I need to know if this feature allow me to launch my app on startup without any user action ?
Moreover, I'm on EU TV and this feature seems to be disabled on those TV for right terms. So I can't install a ticker apps on my TV.
So I need to know if I can change my EU TV to US TV by changing the firmware or something else to enable the ticker feature ?

I have already set the country code In Smart Hub but it's not enough.

I finally found the solution to have ticker application on EU TV.
>Install SamyGo
>Install your app with ticker to n. (ticker to y is not possible on EU TV for security reason)
>connect to the tv with telnet or ssh
>found the file config.xml of your application in widgets folder
>open it and edit it with vi to set ticker to y
>reboot the TV
>you can select your application in the ticker menu now not only SocialTV widget
>reboot the TV
>Your app start on TV startup
