PVR Key File Path

Hello Guys,

I am going to write an "App" to copy the PVR Keys to my USB-Stick per record on my UEXXH5570.

I know that root is available, but I want it only to decrypt my PVR Records
I don't wanna risk my TV if I install root.

So, where is the location on mtd_rwcommon or something else for this PVR Keys.

If it's a version without brick risk I would spend, but I know now that there is a high brick risk and i don't want to get a new TV, because that is only 3 months old.

I just want to know the paths, that I can write an script that copy these files

There are no "paths", and I wonder how you could access them without root anyway...

Because the SamyGO Files copy files to mtd_rwcommon and I just meaned that all can access to this folder over a script in an Smart TV App.

I just want to know how this PVR Decoder decrypt the PVR Records.

The Decoder can decrypt offline and this isn't working. One guy wrote in a Topic that the keys are in the flash from the TV.

Yes, you need root to access folder.

Not the same way as on E/F.

Offline decoding works on E/F only and needs root anyway.

then you ask this guy, who wrote about keys in flash. Maybe he will point you to that location. Actually here is no more need for discussion, because you have got your answer - no keys in ANY place inside TV. All the keys are generated at the moment TV tries to play the file and in any case if you want decrypt your recordings, you have to get root + use some of our tools to "generate" required keys. Without root your goal is impossible.

Hmm, I got an answer from a moderator....

And no I don't want to brick this TV I had a replace for my mainboard this 3 months ago... I hitted in service menu the point sub micom flash and then bricked and became a H Series.

I am asking me how can then the decoder, decode the Record. You wrote that the TV is generating a key.

And yes you can decode the files from a F-Series TV. I done it. I copied all Files to my windows system with the programm ExtFS to access the Linux Partition and choosed offline decode in the Tool because in F-Series there are the keys in the root folder from the usb stick.
