I don't know your device model. We don't support C series yet. I don't know about on-off timer on B series... But If you B series device, that you could make something...It looks like you don't read wiki pages... If you read, you got some answers. ;)

Probably never. Who knows what happens at end of the day?
I don't work for C series. I don't have one too. If I buy one, than could look what I could. At least could try...
But other C series owners could crack their TV's with information at this site. But there is also risk of bricking...
There is no rule that C series must be rooted. If they design their TV secure, there is no hope.
And it's good to know that B series cracked and SamyGO founded on 01/09/2008. So time comes for C series.I believe some user will root it's TV, soon.
