Anynet+ Not working

Anynet+ is reported as connected with my RPi2 running Raspbian with Kodi but no buttons are working. Not sure if this is a TV or Kodi problem but since it may be something todo with the TV configuration I thought I'd ask here. I'm using an Apple HDMI cable so it should support CEC and anyways it seems to be connected... TV model is UA55H7000
