UE55HU7200 Customizing boot Screen Logo

Hi all,

having just got my first UE55HU7200 unit (great thing, I am still very imperssed), and I am working my way into its internals, and I'd like to change the boot logo. When the TV is turned on, I'd like to see my name/logo, replacing the default animation would br great, but I am also happy if I manage to put my logo in the background as soon as the main screen appears.

I am quite experienced with creating pictures and animations of various kinds, but I have no idea whether I can put one of mine into the TV.

Any ideas/links/hints, can this be done at all?

First sure thing: root is mandatory. So first check if your firmware name/revision is amongst rootable ones, else no point.
