for easy firmware update there is may a script ( /mtd_boot/usb ) on the tv. but for me it looks a bit strange (try to flash the encrypted image to partition?)

I get T-CHU7DEUC-1001.2 How do you turn that into the exact filename i.e. SWU_T-CHL7DEUC_002004_I02_EK000DK000_09081

T-CHL7DEUC_002004 - a bit transformed value you get from egrep (I don't have example with digit greater than zero after point to say how exactly it is constructed)
I02 - all examples I saw have this value
EK000 - content of backup copy of mtd_exe/EXE_IMG_VER file
DK000 - content of backup copy of mtd_appdata/APPDATA_IMG_VER file
09081 - firmware release date in format YYMMDD
I think that TV looks at this only for informational purposes, so if you take version string compatible with you TV it is enough to restore it and then update with original firmware.
