1. YOU take 8-pin chip high res photos. All 8-pin chips.
2. We look and tell you which one is correct

You have to find chip and make short circuit on it`s legs SDA to GND or SDL to GND. You do not need any holes. Check wiki more detail and you will understand the technique. Did you inspect ANY of these images on wiki? I guess no.

I'm beginner too, and learning every day something new
Can others help with your project?
if somebody has an interest, any help is welcome. 8-)
Guess my tip about IC901 is EEPROM was wrong.
look at your mainboard for IC904 ...... and maybe is similar to mine. I can't confimr exactly if this one is EEPROM, I found some info in service manuals and in spare pages manuals that for my TV this could be the EEPROM.
check here for your TV spares. you need to specify your version.

notengo13,
"look at your mainboard for IC904" Thanks, did and it is left of IC901. Am attaching photo. This one has 24512RP
ST8211k
Thanks for encompassparts.com link!!! Checked and found on p3 1103-001506 Ic-eeprom;m24512-rmn6tp,512kbit,64kx8,so IC904_US

Am confident this is correct EEPROM!!!

Thanks again for your help!!!

No idea what are you dooing. You found eeprom. You do short circuit and either you get success or not. If you have programmer, first you can make dump of this eeprom. Show dump here. I definitelly tell you is this dump of SoC eeprom or not.

To dump eeprom you can use cheap CH341A programmer or even arduino with network shield.

Check wiki and you follow red or blue line. Use ANY example for ANY Tv.
All eeprom chips have same pinout. At least all atmel based eeprom chips so far i know until now. Use your ic904 ad use paperclip to connect two legs of chip. :P
