[ROOT] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Re: [App] Rooting E/F on latest firmwares
Hi everybody,
last saturday i started to root my TV (UE55F6470)[MST]. Everything seems okay but i have two red [No] at rooting widget:
Existing 'dtv/SamyGo_OK'? [NO]
and
Existing 'mnt/rcSGO'? [NO]
All other lines are okay and green. I haven't access via FTP or Telnet so i think root isn't working.
Any ideas?

Yeah read 1st post and/or use a better USBHorst1235 wrote:Any ideas?

1ST POST wrote:
- If no root at all, try to replace SamyGO-F-SM-MST-Fix/data/data.zip by this one on USB. This file already includes 'sleep 120' before autostart, so restart rooting procedure and wait at least 3-4 minutes before checking root.
- If still no root, replace run.sh in USB SamyGO_data folder by the one from this archive, restart TV, wait a while and paste here sam.log you might find in SamyGO_data.
I do NOT receive any PM. Please use forum.

first changed the usb drive
second replace the data.zip
and last but not least i replaced the run.sh.
Nothing changed and i haven't a output logfile. No .txt in \SamyGO_data\data\

Is it possible to remove the root complete and start from scratch?

Hello,
Maybe a little off topic
If I make any changes in the service menu will it ruin my calibrations, recordings, smarthub, etc?

It could even ruin your TV if you're not aware of what you're changingvesko wrote:Hello,

Also know that only accessing service menu resets picture settings to default.
